Food Support Program – “Relief That Reaches the Heart”

During the blessed month of Ramadan, Al-Madad Welfare Society stands beside families who silently endure hardship. Our Food Support Program provides monthly ration packs to the most deserving households, with special focus on widowed women and low-income families in Umerkot and other rural areas of Sindh.

Beyond rural Sindh, Al-Madad also extends this support to deprived urban communities in Karachi, including Baldia Town, Kati Pahari, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, Sultanabad, and Railway Colony—areas where daily survival is a constant struggle.

Through this Ramadan initiative, approximately 4,500 individuals benefit from Al-Madad’s food support. Many of these families never ask for help; their limited incomes are exhausted by house rent, school fees, and daily transportation, leaving little for food or dignity.

This month-long ration support offers families a moment of relief, allowing parents to save modestly—so their children can experience the joy of Eid gifts and new clothes, just like any other child.

“They give food, despite their love for it, to the needy,
the orphan, and the poor.” (Surah Al-Insan 76:8)

Every ration pack is made possible through the trust and generosity of our supporters. Al-Madad Welfare Society remains committed to transparency, dignity, and responsible distribution.

This Ramadan, walk with Al-Madad. Your support can ease hunger, restore hope, and multiply blessings—across rural Sindh and low-income communities of Karachi.
